About the Project

The first stage of the foreshore revitalisation was completed in summer 2019, the Rockingham Foreshore has never looked better. The precinct has been transformed into a high-quality space for both residents and visitors to enjoy. With a new grassed amphitheatre facing the beach, a lookout point and an expanded boardwalk with terracing to the sand, it’s the perfect space for the city’s numerous foreshore events and fairs. 

The Rockingham redevelopment project include MG Group’s dedicated Project management team and trades on-site consisting of up to 20 direct employees working under a very tight time frame on this project. Managing the complex and challenging scope of concrete and civil works to complete the project in a timely manner as required from the client with strictly adhering to our ISO accredited quality, safety and environmental systems in a challenging environment working on the foreshore. 

Detailed design of Stage One of the Rockingham Beach Foreshore Revitalisation project includes the following areas: 

  • Railway Terrace 
  • The Beach Plaza (Railway Terrace between Harris on Street and the beach) 
  • The Boardwalk (between Railway Terrace and Val Street Jetty)
