About the Project
Crowned Australia’s best rectangular stadium at the 2023 Austadium Awards, HBF Park services as the competition base for the high performing sporting codes of Rugby League, Rugby Union, and A League football. With a capacity of 35,000 fans, the venue also hosts a range of world class concert events.
The project involved safeguarding its patrons by installation of impact-rated concrete retaining and freestanding walls, the installation of fixed and removable steel bollards, pedestrian fencing, and stairs with handrails.
Soft landscaping, including planting, mulching, and irrigation will enhanced the site’s aesthetic quality. Concrete and red asphalt paving was laid and subsurface drainage works helped to manage water flow. The project also restored and refurbished any existing structures impacted by the works, ensuring a safe, functional, and visually appealing outcome.
