About this Project

Dayton Neighbourhood Park provides a new green recreation space for the local community. Dayton is one of the City of Swan’s fastest growing areas and is part of their Urban Growth Corridor. The project encountered a number of challenges including dewatering requirements, a bore that ended up double the initially proposed depth at over 300m deep, vandalism and theft, working in close proximity to trees, and irrigation iron filtration system redesign.  The MG Group project team worked with the Client, Superintendent, and consultants to overcome these hurdles and deliver a quality asset for the City of Swan.

The works involved in this project include: excavation, hydraulics, drainage, steel shelters, soft landscaping, installation of irrigation, street furniture, concrete pavements, playground construction, sports lighting, installation of services for future stages, working with a majority of MG Group direct labour and qualified trades to carry out the works onsite.
