Baldivis Sporting Complex

The in-construction Baldivis District Sports Complex is the City of Rockingham project that comprises of the southern pavilion, outdoor hard court (netball, basketball and tennis courts), and outdoor recreation space (playground and skate park).

As Baldivis is experiencing rapid growth, particularly in the number for young families living in the area. This created a high demand for sport and recreation facilities to play an important role in proving opportunities for social interaction and skill building, and creating stronger, safer and more inclusive communities.

The sports court area includes eight tennis court ad eight basketball/netball court fenced with chainmesh fencing and has shelter with bench seating. You can find two large play structures, a giant tree house and ninja warrior circuit.

Other interesting feature of a playground is the riverbed built with small river stones and a water pump. There is an impressive skate park with detailing and mural art which is visible along the Eight Road and is secured by a surrounding balustrade.
