About this Project
The Wilson Park Netball Courts Upgrade was an extensive multi-million-dollar project that transformed the sports facilities at Wilson Park. The project involved the construction of 11 new Netball courts, 1 Basketball Court, 1 Hit-Up court and 2 practice areas, spread over an area of 11,000 square meters. To make way for the new courts, the existing asphalt had to be removed and disposed of. The team then performed box -out work to install a new road base, ensuring a stable foundation for the new courts.
The project also included the installation of new light poles to provide ample lighting for evening games, ensuring that players can continue to play safely long after the sun goes down. Landscaping and irrigation lines were also installed to improve the overall aesthetic of the sports facilities and maintain the greenery surrounding the courts.
