Bibra Lake Adventure Playground

Project: Bibra Lake Adventure Playground

Client: City of Cockburn

Completed: 2016

This complex adventure playground was designed to include features and to be inclusive that people of all ages and ability can enjoy. Our scope of works was over 5000m² with multiple facets of hard and soft-scape works. This included installation of bespoke shade canopies’, a water play feature, street furniture, children’s play spaces for varying age groups, soft-fall, interactive play areas, bespoke metal works structures, many catalogue play items and the completion of two car parks.

This was a project that required  dedicated project and site managers to oversee the complexity of programming, liaising with the City of Cockburn, nominated artists, suppliers and our sub-contractors to arrange and confirm logistics in order to successfully complete works in one of Perth’s largest adventure public outdoor spaces.

This project was undertaken in a popular playground area and awareness of the requirements for public safety. With our direct labour MG completed the clearing and minor earthworks, installed the drainage, concrete pavement, hard landscape works such as in-situ concrete seats and installation of play equipment.
