A site visit occurred this morning with City of Cockburn for a Sod-turning event at Bibra Lake Skate Park and Recreation Precinct.

As the construction phase nears and work will being within weeks on the skate park upgrade, so the 1st sod must be turned – let’s celebrate!

IN ATTENDANCE: Mayor Logan Howlett, Willagee MLA Peter Tinley, City reps, Bibra Lake Residents Association reps and local boys (then primary school students, now in high school) who got the ball rolling two years ago with a petition that they doorknocked to gather signatures/support for an upgraded skate park in Bibra Lake for older children living in the area.

We are looking forward to the commencement in February.

Thank you to the Bibra Lake Residents Association for the drive behind the initiative of getting the project up and running and can ensure that this site will be transformed in the coming months.
