One of our latest project as head contractor is the building of an irrigation lake in a 3.5 hectare public open space in Byford – Glades subdivision for the new town centre. This comprises of ground works, acid sulphate soil treatment, de-watering and treatment, excavation, concrete retaining walls, waterproofing membrane and water supply and drainage infrastructure.

A timber clad steel boardwalk covering a portion of the lake is constructed with an adjacent weir structure. A large area of softscape planting and reticulation will be installed.

This project was undertaken during winter which posed difficult conditions in the clay sub-grade which MG Group managed to program works in order to complete to original time schedules as required by the client.
